As the first phase of the Leone Rock Premier League 2023/24 season draws to a close, Bhantal FC finds itself in a remarkable position, and much of this success can be attributed to the dedicated efforts of the coaching staff led by Head Coach Abdulai Kaloga Bah. Alongside him are Assistant Coaches Musa Jalloh, Ibrahim Soskey Kamara, Goalkeeper Coach Alie Jaward, Fitness Coach Baimba Kamara, and medic officer Anthony Victor Conteh. This cohesive technical team has proven its worth in the eyes of both the Management and the supporters/fans of Bhantal FC.
In the 17 games played during the first phase, Bhantal FC achieved 8 wins, 7 draws, and 2 losses, conceding only 6 goals throughout the entire phase. This impressive defensive record speaks volumes about the meticulous planning and training the coaching staff implements. Head Coach Abdulai Kaloga Bah’s tactical understanding, coupled with the diligent work of Assistant Coaches Musa Jalloh and Ibrahim Sorkey Kamara, has ensured the team remains competitive in every match.
Goalkeeper Coach Alie Jaward’s role in keeping the opposition at bay cannot be understated, as evidenced by the low number of goals conceded. His expertise and guidance have been valuable to the team’s defensive stability. Additionally, Fitness Coach Baimba Kamara’s conditioning programs have kept the players in optimal physical shape, allowing them to perform at their best throughout the grueling season.
In the medical department, the meticulous care provided by medic officer Anthony Victor Conteh has ensured that the players remain fit and healthy, minimizing the impact of injuries on the squad.
As the first phase concludes with Bhantal FC securing the 3rd position in the table, just 1 point behind FC Kallon and 5 points from the league leaders Bo Rangers FC, the coaching staff can look back at their achievements with pride. Their collective efforts have not only produced results on the field but have also instilled a sense of confidence and determination in the team. With the second phase of the league ahead, Bhantal FC and its coaching staff are poised to continue their pursuit of excellence and success.
